My wife and I first took notice of Honeycomb on their social media and subsequently proceeded to engage with their service after a meeting at their office at Sin Ming. It was a great first meeting as we felt like we clicked really well and our chat with Gabriel was efficient and energising.
The whole process of meeting IDs via first impression was tiring to say the least. Gabriel took notice of our needs and materialised the logic into aesthetic concepts almost immediately and we had no choice but to go with him as we were so drawn with the ideas that he proposed. After the initial meeting, he even brought us to an existing house that he has worked on, and is finishing up on, and we even got to meet his current client! It was a great experience as it was though looking into our future and we can only hope to be as happy as they are too. And we are!
The renovation process was easy going as Gabriel knows what he is doing and he has a great team of contractor that really know what they are doing as well. Floor plan with electric outlets and custom furniture were made to perfect at every dimension and angle and made our living here absolutely flawless. It was definitely a great experience as we wouldnt exchange it for anything. Will definitely recommend them to my friends and family who need renovation. :)
After looking out for so many IDs around the country I felt a kinship with Jane because we have the same hometown and we shared a lovely conversation/meeting regarding our ideas for the renovation. My hubby and I both had a chat afterwards and agreed she was the one to go with and confirmed within a week.
Jane is creative and is really good with visualising her ideas, and assisting us to see her vision because my hubby and I are both creatively challenged... It was a fuss free renovation as everything went smoothly apart from a few shipment delays but it was expected and least of my worries.
Because this was our first house, we only got a few custom made items but it was mainly focused on the kitchen and wardrobes but I can safely say that the craftsmanship is impeccable. My favourite is definitely the L shaped kitchen with custom made cabinets because I love to cook and I like my items in a certain order and space.
I am also delighted with my walk in wardrobe because it is fashionably done and I take OOTDs inside everyday! Jane is simply amazing and we are really grateful for her help in creating such a beautiful first home for us. Looking forward to our next! :)
We met Jackson after we got into contact with Honeycomb and he was suggested to us because our aesthetics matched really well. Our first impression of him was that he was very friendly and easy to talk to, we chat on the moodboard for really long and brain stormed a lot of ideas just by that session.
We actually met at their office in Sin Ming City and it was actually really beautifully decorated with many colours and decoration. Jackson seem like a passionate designer because whenever we discuss one idea, it will offshoot into more ideas that he had. Not gona lie but after some discussion we did go to a few more interior places to compare quotes, ultimately we felt a stronger connection to Jackson, and he had a much more reasonable quote with relations to the amount of work that needed to be done.
My wife and I do prefer a more comfortable renovation process if it meant having to pay a little more. In the end we were right because Jackson was responsive and always kept us up to date with our house, because we have a fairly abnormal work schedule since both my wife and i are in the pharmacare industry. Our home is a post modern mixed with scandinavian aesthetic because we appreciate and like to collect vintage furnitures, especially wood.
The renovation was done and fast forward to now where both of us can come home to a beautiful home after every tiring shift, but makes it worthwhile since we cannot imagine living somewhere else. Thank you Jackson and team for the tireless work to help us build our dream home. Blessed year ahead.
